Charles Miller is a 3rd year History student at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, currently studying at University College Dublin for a term. He is originally from San Antonio Texas and is working towards being published for the first time.
Of the poetry featured here, Charles has said…‘I believe this collection of poems, dealing as they do with the varying stages of a sunset, are able to reconcile two temporal stages, one which stretches over a long period of time and another focused on a single moment. The poems look
at a single sunset and the changing colours through it (thereby dealing literally with illumination) while also looking at the self and my own interactions (dealing with the metaphorical meaning of illumination and understanding oneself)’
